NOTORIOUS CULT GROUP ARRESTED IN GBOKO

Youth under the auspices of Jemgbagh Youth Progressive Forum today arrested over 10 young people from Adekaa area of Gboko local government alleged to be furthering the cause of a secret society in the area. The group whose activities climaxed in the past one week have macheted over four people to further their activities.

An official of the youth who spoke to Benue Revival on the condition of anonymity maintained that the gang was arrested following the cry of residents of Adekaa who have not been able to sleep since last week as a result of the group's dreaded activities.
 A member of the gang who spoke to our reporter denied their membership of any cult group but informed that those who they attacked  owed their friends money and have refused to pay through peaceful means leading to their resort to self help.

Four to five years ago, Benue state was rated a" state of cultism". A place where you didn't walk all alone anything from 6PM. Fortunately, as of past two to three years ago, there was a little peace in the state. The high rate of killing from these bad gangs was reduced.
Now, they are fully back in action again. The killing and butchering of human beings animal has started in the state
