Nigeria U-17 internationals are expected to submit their Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) by month’s end ahead of the forthcoming Africa Junior Championship.
The tournament begins on February 15 in Niamey. World champions Nigeria are drawn in the same group as hosts Niger, Zambia and Guinea.
Players have been subjected to an MRI scan to determine if they are within the age bracket allowed for the finals since the 2009 edition.
