I’m still in shock over Kefee’s death –Teddy Don Momoh

 Kefee
Widower of late gospel musician and Branama Queen, Kefee, Teddy Don Momoh, has declared that he is still in shock over six months after Kefee passed on after she slipped into a coma which lasted for several weeks at an American hospital before she finally gave up the ghost.

At a press conference to unveil her double post humus albums and an Evening With Kefee, a musical programme designed to commemorate her birthday, the OAP told The Entertainer that he is yet to come to terms with kefee’s passing: “I was there by her bedside all through it all, I was there when everything happened so It wasn’t as if I woke up to it but I am still in shock; I still can’t believe that Kefee is gone.”
How has he been able to pull through this last six months? “I believed in prayer and I still believe in prayer. While Nigerians were praying we were also praying that she would pull through. It was a shocking moment for me when she passed on and I have not gotten over her. I am still in shock; right now I am just like God, you know why.”

Don-Momoh also spoke on plans to release her double post humus album entitled Beautiful and The Best of Both Worlds and An Evening With Kefee.
“While she was still alive, Lagosians gave her huge support and those days on her birthdays we always did something special. This year would not be an exception. This year we are having a programme tagged An Evening With Kefee.

“Among others it would feature the release of her post humours albums both audio and video entitled Beautiful and Best of Both Worlds. Some of the songs are already on air while some are not. Also expect some new songs and new videos. This is one of her unfulfilled dreams because we had been planning the release of these albums before she died. The audio is called Beautiful and the video is entitled Best Of Both Worlds which is the DVD.”

On what he has to say to Kefee’s fans, Don Momoh said: “Keep supporting her and giving her your best because Kefee lives on. On Thursday, February 5, which is her birthday, An Evening With Kefee will take centre stage at Daystar, Oregun, Lagos. Red carpet starts 4pm. Please be there to support Kefee.”
Meanwhile, billed to perform are Sabina, MC Abbey, Kuality, Nikki Laoye, Anny Ibrahim, Timaya, Vector and Glo Ambassador, Sammie Okposo.
