The Super Falcons gaffer has reiterated that his side will not a push over when the 2015 Fifa Women's World Cup gets underway

Head coach of Nigeria's senior women team Edwin Okon believes his side will not be jittery when they face USA, Sweden and Australia in Group D of the 2015 Fifa Women's World Cup in Canada.

Okon who witnessed the draw at the Canadian Museum of History in Ottawa last Saturday said his ladies will be aiming to emerge as group winners at the end of the preliminary phase while shrugging off threats from big teams in the tournament.
"We are not afraid of any team as no group is simple. Every group is tough, having USA in our group does not put fear in us, instead it gives us the extra determination to train and prepare better, Okon told the media.
"Going into the World Cup as African Champions they too are afraid of us. We have set a target for ourselves which is going farther than we have ever gone in the World Cup.
"This is achievable, but we cannot afford to fear any team.
The Rivers Angels also disclosed that the African champions do not need too many information about their opponents rather than quality preparation for the global football showpiece.
"We don't need to know about our opponents, all we need to do is to prepare very well and then come out to play.
"We are not nervous about any team, every team is good, we just have to prepare very well.
"We are hoping to top the group, which is our target. With God on our side and good preparation, we hope to the group and go all the way", he added.
