Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, has vowed to kill the emir of Kano state, Muhamadu Sanusi 11 who asked the people of Kano to defend themselves against sect.
Shekau issued the threat in a new video posted on youtube. In the video, Shekau said: "Now listen to me Emir of Kano. I am talking to you and only you because of your recent utterances. Let me inform you now that you are late (dead). You should know that you are the only the king of Kano, king of central bank, king of money, you are only Sanusi Lamido."
Apart from vowing to kill him, Shekau has also said he would kill all the local vigilantes and hunters who have also been attacking the members of the sect. "Because you are made the Emir of Kano, that is why you got angry and was calling on the vigilante group and hunters to attack us, they failed and in the same way, you also will fail because you are dead already", said Shekau.
