SPORT: OBOABONA FALLS WITH RIZESPOR, AROKOYO STARS IN FENERBAHCE'S DRAW

Super Eagles defender Godfrey Oboabona was in action for Rizespor but went down 3-0 with them away to Mersin in the Turkish Super League. Oboabona played for 90 minutes.
Gokcek Vederson, Serkan Balci and Welliton, all scored for Mersin.

Former Flying Eagles defender Gbenga Arokoyo and his Nigerian team-mate John Chibuike were in action for Gaziantepspor who drew 2-2 against Fenebahce.
Arokoyo, who had boasted to stop Fenerbahce stars from scoring, was on for 90 minutes, while Chibuike was substituted for Abuda in the 69th minute.
Demba Camara opened the scoring for Gaziantepspor on six minutes. Gokahn Gonul leveled for Fenebahce in the 49th minute before Muhammet Demir restored Gaziantepspor’s lead from the spot in the 54th minute. But in the 65th minute, Alper Potuk restored parity for Fenebahce.
In Greece, Nigerian duo Ugo Ukah and Daniel Adejo made an appearance for Kalloni who lost 3-0 to AEK.
Rafik Djebbour and Christos Aravidis (brace) were the scorers for AEK who didn’t feature Chrisantus Macaulay.
Adejo, who was on from the start, later made way for Ukah in the 65th minute.
Still in Greece, former Flying Eagles skipper Abduljeleel Ajagun was introduced with 13 minutes left as Panathinaikos defeated Veria 1-0 away.
Super Eagles right-back Abdullahi Shehu played for 90 minutes in Uniao da Madeira’s 2-0 home win against Tondela in Portugal.
Goals from Danilo and Jhonder Cadiz, settled the tie for Uniao da Madeira.
Also, Nigerian forward Uche Nwofor was introduced for Anderson Carvalho on the dot of 90 minutes in Boavista 3-2 away loss to Arouca.
Gabriel Reuben was benched while Michael Uchebo was not listed for the encounter.
In Belgium, Wilfred Ndidi played 90 minutes for Genk who played a 0-0 home draw against Anderlecht.
Former Standard Liege forward Imoh Ezekiel was an unused substitute in the match.
