ARMED ROBBERS AND POLICE IN GUNSHOT AFTER ROBBING FIRST AND SKY BANK IN OSUN

There was heavy gun battle today between men of the under world and security operatives in ikirun, ifelodun local government, Osun state.

It started some minutes past ten, and lasted for about an hour, the heavily armed men attacked First bank and Skye bank simultaneous, they  blast an armored tank parked few minutes away to the bank before they headed for the operation.


It is believed few million of naira would have been carted away, as one of the banks had told their customers there was no money available before the robbers came, they used dynamite to blow the door of the bank‎, two bank staff from Skye bank were killed in the operation.

Police took the corpses to their station along Federal government college road before the bodies were taking to the morgue. Three robbers were killed and two were caught alive.

These banks as always been there targets in resent years, like three times in the last four years.

Today, it was really terrible to behold as the environs turned red!
