BENUE STATE GOVT CONFIRMS N500M FOR PRIVATE PROJECTS

Benue State Government has earmarked N500 million for the purpose of supporting private projects in the state. This was made known by the State Governor, Samuel Ortom, last Tuesday, when he attended the official inauguration of a sports complex at Vaatia College in Makurdi, the state capital.

--> The Governor called on staff and students to utilize the complex to discover their God-given talent so as to excel as world-class sports men and women. Earlier, the Proprietor and Principal of the College, Mr Mike Vaatia said the project was intended to provide the best possible fitness for staff and students. He said the College will, in the coming years, invest more in capital projects to meet international standards and appealed to Governor Ortom to provide access road to the school.
