"Three suicide bombing attacks have been reported in Saudi Arabia on Monday. Early reports from Saudi-owned al-Arabiya TV say two security forces and a suicide bomber were killed in Medina, near the second-holiest site in Islam. No other casualties were reported in Qatif after two explosions, including a suicide bombing, were reported near a mosque, according to witnesses."
Early Monday, a suicide bomber died and wounded two others near the U.S. consulate in Jeddah. There have been no claims of responsibility.
Few hours after the initial report, 5 were reported dead contrary to the report of the Arabiya TV in a series of terror attacks hit the cities of Saudi Arabia including Medina, outside the Prophet Mosque - one of the largest and the holiest mosque after Mecca. At least 5 people were dead that included 3 suicide bombers and two security guards.
One of the other attacks targeted Shia Muslims outside the mosque in the eastern city, Qatif. Another attack targeted US consulate in the Red Sea city of Jeddah.
