Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has enjoined the Muslim faithful to always be guided by the attributes and lessons of the life and times of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW) which symbolises piety, peace, love, tolerance and good neighbourliness.
The governor said that Nigeria will make quicker progress towards the fulfilment of its great potentials as a nation, if its citizens foster peace, security and stability.
He called on Nigerians to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations to demonstrate the spirit of tolerance, unity, forgiveness and compassion to compatriots.
Al-Makura, through his Special Assistant Media and Publicity, Ahmed Tukur, congratulated all Nigerians who successfully performed the Hajj this year.
He tasked all Muslim faithful onthe need to share what they have with their neighbours as a mark of love in accordance with the injunctions of prophet Mohammed (SAW).
