Chibok girls release, a step in the direction of hope – Korode

The General Leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ayo Nio, Special Apostle Sunday Korode has said that the release of the 21 Chibok girls was a step to the right direction of hope.

Korode who said this over the weekend at the 26th Convocation ceremony of the Church’s College of Divinity in Lagos added that, the release of the girls after over 982 days has rejuvenated the hope of Nigerians that the remaining girls would be released. Saying that the shame of Nigeria as a country was already removed and a new beginning has come. “We are not unaware that security challenges are heavy, just as we are trying to have spiritual security, we are also looking in the direction of physical security as we believe that God would take over our land and Nigeria would become another Goshen”, he said. On the recession, the man of God advised Nigerians to be steadfast and continue to serve God in Spirit and truth and be selfless protecting everyone’s interest saying that it is only on that premise that God would bless the country. “As a believer, when you are in recession, you are in progression because the God you serve is greater than the problems around you”, he added. Speaking on the 26th convocation, Special Apostle Korode disclosed that over 96 students from different churches graduated including Redeemed Christian Church of God, CAC members, among others from 2013 to date.
