What a fake and empty boast from the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Abayomi Olonishakin, that Boko Haram has totally been defeated. As empty as it is, this morning; FRAYOKIT NEWS has learnt that at least 9 people have been killed and scores were seriously injured in Maiduguri by the same Boko Haram he said they have defeated.
This morning in Maiduguri, NO FEWER THAN 9 PEOPLE KILLED BY BOKO HARAM IN MAIDUGURI THIS MORNING.
In a statement released by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Abayomi Olonishakin this morning; it reads:
The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Abayomi Olonishakin has insisted that Boko Haram has been totally dismantled.
According to him, it did not matter whether supposed Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau had been killed or not, but the truth was that the terrorist group had been wiped out.
The Chief of Defence Staff who was represented by the acting Director, Defence Information, Brig. Gen. Rabe Abubakar at a media parley with Correspondents at the Federal Radio Corporation, FRCN, Kaduna, also cautioned the media against stories that could inflame conflict.
He said: “Today, I am pleased to inform you that we have defeated Boko Haram. It is not an easy feat. Yes, you may hear that an inaccessible village has been attacked or that there was an attack somewhere. But, that is the last kicking of a dying group.l
Just few days ago, the sect members attacked Mums garage in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital killing scores of persons.

This is not the first time we are hearing this type of empty boast just as you said here from this people. You have defeated BOKO HARAM, and they still killed nine people in Maiduguri today! If you no get what to say, go and sit down with your wife at home. We are tired of this senseless talk!
