The Lagos state government has legally signed death penalty bill for kidnappers in the state. This has been the wish of the many Lagosians before now; satisfying their wish, His Excellency, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has finally signed the
document. This is to say, as from 6th January 2017, any kidnapper who has been arrested must surely be killed.

According to a report gathered from News agencies of Nigeria, (NAN) his Excellency, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has signed a legal document mandating execution of any kidnapper if eventually docked.
This is a very important initiative that has nothing but full potential of giving Lagosians and visitors freedom of movement even at night without a fear of being kidnapped.
