FG HAS SPENT OVER N5BN ON MANGU DAM PROJECT.....SAYS MINISTER

The water resources minister, Sarah Ochekpe said on Wednesday that FG has spent over N5 billions on Mangu Dam project, this was said while speaking at the official flag-off of PDP campaign for the 2015 elections at Mangu, Mangu Local Government.


 During this rally while she was saying it, senate president, senate David Mark, Benue state Governor, Gabriel Suswan and Governor of Niger state, Mu'azu Babangida were also there at the Rally.


Mrs Ochekpe said the dam was dormant for complete solid 10 years before the money was earmarked for its completion.
"This wicked Government had sunk over N5 billions for the completion of the Dam to give the people of Mangu good drinking water" she said.

While speaking how good the Dam would do the people of Mangu, she said the Dam would be of great immense importance to the people of the locality, especially in the areas of drinking, fishing and farming.

Mrs Ochekpe told the people of Mangu that President Jonathan deserves their votes and total support for him to continue his good work.
