AHMADU BELLO UNIVERSITY INTRODUCES FLEXIBLE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES FOR CIVIL SERVANTS

Are you a Civil Servant? Would you like to acquire a certificate to upgrade your rank in the service?

The Ahmadu Bello University has got good news for you. The school has introduced the following programmes just for you:

·         Diploma in Local Government Studies

·         Diploma in Public Administration

·         Diploma in Peace and Security Studies

·         Advanced Diploma in Public Administration

·         Higher Diploma in Local Government

Other programmes available are:

·         Diploma in Mass Communication

·         Diploma in Social Work and Development Studies

ABU’s online programme allows you to attend lectures without coming to the physical campus, so you do not need to quit your job. Lectures are delivered electronically through a tablet device (VigiTab). Online/Distance Learning will not be stated on your certificate as you get the same quality ABU education.

Assignments and quizzes are also taken and submitted online and examinations would be taken at different test centers across the country. You will thus not be required to travel to Zaria to take your examinations.

Anyone with four (4) credit passes, including English, at not more than two sittings, can apply.
