Trouble muddled a family yesterday as a man killed his step mother on a farm land in Benue state. According to the source, there was classical controversial misunderstanding between the said man and the unfortunate woman; but as at the time of writing this report, the detail of their conflict was still unknown.
The conflict which has built an indelible atrocious thought in the mind of the so-called murderer finally unveiled its dagger yesterday. The woman was on her business spot where she was roasting her yam as the man went to her on intention to send her to the land of see no more, but could not succeed in the first time probably due to the roasted yam she offered him.
Due to how strong the conflict has rooted deep in the heart of the so-called murderer, he went back the second time. This time, he succeeded reportedly killed the poor woman.
He was apprehended by the police, put behind bar. Demanding for his immediate release, boys around launched a strong protest and riot which resulted in blocking of the federal road, Otukpo, Benue state.
According to our correspondent who sent in this report, “As at the time of this report, no full details than this, but it shall be reported back as soon as we get hold of it”.
