Frayokit News learnt that she was born in 1940; she was the Kenya’s First Lady from 2002 to 2013.
According to the source that suplied this news said,"She is survived by her husband, Mwai Kibaki and four children, Judy Wanjiku, Jimmy Kibaki, David Kagai, and Tony Githinji".
Speaking this morning from presidential press room, President Uhuru Kanyatta deeply expressed how sorrowful he is and the nation at large saying, “It is with deep sense of sadness and loss that I have learnt of the untimely death of the Former First Lady, Her Excellency Mrs. Lucy Kibaki. She passed away early this morning while undergoing treatment in Bupa Cromwell Hospital in London. Her Excellency has been unwell for the last one month and has been receiving treatment here in Kenya and subsequently in the United Kingdom".
