Daily Express reports that Arsenal’s move for Jamie Vardy could collapse unless it is completed before the start of Euro 2016. The Gunners triggered the Leicester City forward’s £20 million release clause on Friday. Arsenal have reportedly offered Vardy a four-year contract thought to be worth around £120,000 a week.
The source explains that Arsenal are keen to complete the deal before the Euros in case Vardy’s value increases following some positive performances for England, which would likely see other clubs join the race for his signature.
