Reports say a Boko Haram kingpin, on the wanted list of the Nigerian Army, Chindo Bello, was nabbed by security agents, at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.

Vanguard Newspapers reports that Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman, the  Acting Director Army Public Relations, said Bello was arrested, while trying to board an Aero Contractors’ flight, en-route Lagos.
A statement obtained from Vanguard reads, “the Nigerian Army would like to reiterate the need for all well meaning Nigerians and those residing in our great country to be more vigilant and assist security agencies with information about the declared wanted terrorists, their sponsors and other criminals in our midst.”
Vanguard also reports that “the military then thanked those eagle eyed and patriotic security agents and good citizens for the tip off that led to the arrest of the suspect.”
In October, the Chief of Army Staff, General Tukur Burataireleased the pictures of 100 Boko Haram members, declared wanted.
